Building a ‘green’ world isn’t only a practice we embrace; it’s also a Philosophy. The public perception may be that ‘green’ is a little more costly, but the more we pursue this direction the more inexpensive it will get, as we consumers make our choices with our wallets. The more we insist on ‘knowing’ what’s behind the products we buy, the more informed our choices will be.
At PGP it is our aim to be smart, clean and timely. We want our environment to nurture us now, not later. We want our energy to renew us, to unite us with others we share it with. We want our air to be clean, our gardens to be lush and healthy, our food to be straightforward and natural, and our minds to be at peace. We want to live and work in stress-free environments – hopefully in home offices, or clean commercial structures – and do work that we love alongside people we care about.
There are such simple things we can all do in our daily routine that protect our planet. To live intentionally, you really have to start with the core elements – what you feel comfortable with. Unless it compels you, it’s just another imposition. Eventually, compliance will give way to competition, and we will all conform to the logic of practices that promise survival, but right now there is a wide thoroughfare for leadership.
Leaders can show us how to live within a tighter ‘consumer energy budget,’ while still affording
the comforts and luxuries we enjoy. As we approach a future that will inevitably call for
lifestyle modifications, it will drive innovation into an economic arena in which
shareholders will hopefully elect to pay heed to the will of the green
consciousness. Then, using all the advancements in earth-technology to
capitalize on what’s truly modern, we can integrate the right solutions
into our lifestyles.
PGP intends to be one of these leaders.
