The owner inherited the family home and felt it was too large to personally occupy, feeling out of place in the exclusive,well-to-do enclave. The home is owned outright; raising the home’s value, bringing it up to code, incorporating energy efficiency, introducing modern standards of comfort, and increasing the aesthetic appeal were the objectives, ultimately to optimize the property’s potential as an ‘asset’ to leverage the owner’s financial flexibility.
